Welcome to Downsview chinchillas, a small private breeder specialising
in charcoal and other colour mutation chinchillas.
This site is dedicated to keeping pet chinchillas in the cool and damp English climate. The information provided is based on our experience of these lovely animals, and their requirements
We are sometimes able to supply quality chinchillas, for pets in the following colours; Black Velvet, Brown Velvet, Pink White, Hetero Beige, Homo Beige, Violet, Charcoal, Char/ Black or Brown, Dark and Light Pastels and some Standards.
Our animals receive individual daily attention and playtime, this ensures they are very hand tame. Chinchilla personalities vary and its important to find one that suits a prospective owner, we therefore do not ship animals.
We regret that due to commitments with our chinchillas we are no longer able to answer general enquiries, unless of course you have a Downsview Chinchilla! For general advice we suggest joining the Chinchillas Unlimited forum available on this link
